Catherine Shrubshall
Born in Thorpe le Soken, Essex in 1962, Catherine's training in performance arts has led to work with groundbreaking live and recorded productions with theatre and dance companies (Royal National Theatre, London Contemporary Dance Theatre, Random Dance, Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company) and she has collaborated on writing music for film, TV and theatre (BBC, ITV, MTV, Radio 3, Handmade Films, Theatre Centre). Catherine has played in many bands as a soloist and with her horn section (William Orbit, The Steve Martland Band, Izit and her own band HOOT!) and on many albums (Acid Jazz, Island, Decca, Factory, Warner Bros).
