Etim Bassey Asukwo (MIKE) is a sculptor.

He attended Primary School Akani Obio, Oron, Akwa Ibom State and later moved to Secondary School Oti-Oron. Oron. He did 3 semesters in Business Administration before going on to study Fine Art at the Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos where he majored in sculpture.  

Asukwo also paints and designs. He is a versatile artist who works in several medium and techniques. He joined Businessday Newspaper where his skill as a cartoonist came to the fore and later left to Calabar where he was involved in the urban beautification effort of the former governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke.

He now lives in Calabar where he continues to produce political cartoons for newspapers along side his full time studio work as a sculptor.
